A Swimming WA affiliated swimming club, which has been going strong for 50 years. The club has produced many successful swimmers that have represented the state of W.A. The success of GKDSC is formulated around family and community involvement.
We are a powerful swimming club in the region, known as the Guildford and Kalamunda Districts Swimming Club. We cater for Learn to Swim, Junior & Intermediate Squads, Senior Open and Age Squads and Adult Fitness.
The club trains out of three pools. Two pools at Guildford Grammar School with accompanying strength and conditioning centres as well as an indoor 25metre pool at Darling Range Sports College. All together the club has access to 22 private lanes to run all it’s training programs, meaning squads never have to share with public swimming.
GKDSC is lead under the guidance of Head Coach Brett Tongue, Senior Coach Gordon Shaw, Guildford Program Coach Val Newboult and Darling Range Program Coach Renee Irvine as well as a strong team of Junior Coaches.
